Enjoying our Mid-Winter Break...

Girls are on their Mid-Winter Break! As of 3pm yesterday we had no snow...by 4pm it started snowing like no ones business! We got so excited we could hardly stand it! When we woke up this morning and saw about 12 inches of this fluffy stuff we knew exactly what we needed to do! Head out to the local sledding hill!

I love making stuff

Whether it's crafting with my hot glue gun or pulling out my paint brushes. I love making stuff. Makes me feel happy & content. I am always looking for things to turn into other things. Did I just lose you? What I mean is that I can see something that sometimes others can't!

So excited!

While out thrifting recently I found these two tables. I cannot wait to put them to good use. I almost wished they would have had three of them! Not even kidding! I want one for my very own crafting table. Then I want one for the girls' playroom & the laundry room...slight problem thats two more rooms & only one more table...decisions, decisions! I was thinking if one goes in the playroom maybe we could ad sand into the top and they could play for hrs with all their dinosaurs. Yes! My girls adore dinosaurs and Yes, I just mentioned sand. Thats all they asked for from Santa last yr. How cool would it be to have their very own dino-land! I was also thinking one could be used in the laundry room as a folding center & on the shelves underneath baskets for organizing our dirty clothes. I almost forgot I will be painting these.

I surprised the girls with a little spa-day (at home) they loved every minute of it!

Not sure where I wanted this blog to go? Do I want it to be solely pictures? Just about my photography? About my family? The dog? Crafts? Painting? My daily adventures? I am still not sure?! For now I will post about things that are happening in my life...which may include the good, bad & ugly. OK! Hopefully not many of the last two. Here we go let the adventures begin.

That time of year

When you are hoping for no more snow or want one last winter blast to get in any outdoor activities you may have missed. Which brings me to wanting another good winter blast (sorry) we have plans to go skiing in 2 weeks & I want it to be the best possible weather....that means we need more snow. We did get to enjoy 3 days of almost 60 degrees I won't lie it was awesome. Old Man Winter one more blast....PLEASE!
